The Cognition Consultant

949‑690‑8370

I'm KJ Savinelli, and I'm the cognition consultant. I collaborate with individuals on the act of thinking. I can tutor most subjects. I can listen. I can argue. I can assess the validity (and possibly the soundness) of a position or an argument. I want to learn about the real‑world problems you face, and I want to work with you on the most fundamental level of human control to solve them.

My background is in philosophy, psychology, logic, rhetoric, and linguistics. In college, I studied everything related to consciousness and thinking. In grad school, I studied the logic of human conversation. In addition to my schooling, I spent nearly 5 years working at 3 different residential treatment centers. During this time, I taught workshops on goal setting, motivation, cognitive psychology, and creative writing.

I'm not a therapist — this is coaching/consulting/tutoring, not psychotherapy, counseling, or medical care. I fasciliate decision-making and problem solving; I don't treat mental illness.

Rates: $5–$200 per hour (sliding scale). Everyone is welcome — whether you're living in a van down by the river, or running a fortune 500 company. I'm interested in working with individuals from all walks of life.

I serve the Bozeman community and prefer face‑to‑face interactions, but in special cases I can take on clients via the internet. I offer a free 15‑minute consult by phone to see if we will be a good fit.

If you are interested in my services, you can call me, text me, or fill out the contact form below.

If you are in crisis, call 988 (US) or your local emergency number.
